The October meeting of the
JRTC Joint Board of Control is scheduled for October 23, 2007, in Conference
Room A at the Center. Lunch will be
served at 11:45 a.m. in Conference Room B and our meeting is scheduled for
12:15 p.m. Enclosed are the tentative
agenda; a copy of the minutes of the September 18, 2007 meeting; the list of
the bills; and other information relative to the meeting.
ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS (08-12):
Attendance Report. Mr. Spangler will review the enclosed report with you.
Skills Advisory Council. The Jackson River Technical Center Skills Advisory Council met on October 18, 2007. Enclosed is a copy of the minutes of that meeting.
Educator Advisory Committee. The Educator Advisory Committee met on September 25, 2007. Enclosed is a copy of the minutes of that meeting.
Dual Enrollment. I will update you on our recent enrollment with DSLCC.
Surplus Equipment Update. I will bring you up to date on our equipment disposal.
NEW BUSINESS:
Business/Marketing Classes (08-13). I will ask you to approve the enclosed list of business and marketing classes.
Skills USA Overnight Trip (08-14). I will ask you to approve the annual Officer Leadership Training Institute field trip in which our students participate.
Joint Board Policy (08-15). I will ask you to approve the policy revisions I handed out at our last meeting.
