The February meeting of the
JRTC Joint Board of Control is scheduled for February 19, 2008, in the Darnell
Conference Center at Jackson River Technical Center. Lunch will be served at 11:45 a.m., and the meeting is scheduled
for 12:15 p.m. Enclosed are a tentative
agenda; a copy of the minutes of the January 22, 2007 meeting; the list of the
bills; and other information relative to the meeting.
JOINT BOARD RECOGNITION (08-34):
I will ask the board to recognize all sixteen welding students who have passed the NOCTI welding exam.
ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS (08-35):
Career/Technical Education Month. I will update you on our activities.
Skills USA. Mr. Spangler will give you an overview of the competitions in which the students competed.
Attendance Report. Mr. Spangler will review the attendance report.
First Semester A & B Honor rolls. I will give you copies of the honor rolls at the meeting.
Alternative Education Program Update. I will review the report with you.
Educator Advisory Committee Minutes. I will review the minutes with you.
OLD BUSINESS:

NEW BUSINESS:
Financial Report (audit) (08-36). The financial report prepared by Persinger & Company will be made available for you to review.
We look forward to seeing you at the meeting on Tuesday 19, 2008. Please remember lunch will be served around 11:45 a.m. and the meeting should begin at 12:15.
