RE: August 19, 2008 Board Meeting
The August meeting of the
JRTC Joint Board of Control is scheduled for August 19, 2008, in the Darnell
Conference Room at the Center. Lunch
will be provided at 11:45 a.m. for you and the JRTC staff. Our meeting is scheduled for 12:15 p.m. in
lab 4. Enclosed is a tentative agenda and
copies of the VRS Resolutions. The
minutes from the July 15, 2008 meeting, the list of bills and other information
relative to the meeting is on-line.
Please bring your calendars so that we may look at some dates to discuss
the JRTC strategic planning process.
ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS (09-06):
Directors Report. I will report on activities and progress at JRTC.
Projected Student Enrollment. I will report on the current enrollment.
NEW BUSINESS:
Approve affirmation of authorization to pick-up the employee’s contribution to VRS (09-07), Approve affirmation of authorization to pick-up the employee’s contribution to VRS for past service credit (09-08), Approve Glenn M. Spangler for authorization of signature in the absence of the division superintendent (09-09), Approve AdMin Solutions as 3rd party administrator of 403 (b) plan (09-10), Approve personnel (09-11)
PAY BILLS (09-12):
Approve Payment of Bills. I will ask you to approve payment of bills for August 2008.
EXECUTIVE SESSION (09-13):
Pursuant to VA Code 2.2-3711.A.1, we need to hold an executive session to discuss personnel matters including the Assistant Director position, and Alternative Education Aide.
PERSONNEL (09-14):
I will ask you to approve an Assistant Director and an Alternative education Aide.
